October Member of the Month - Nesta Flores-Gomez

Congratulations to Nesta Flores-Gomez! He is a senior this year at Edmonds Woodway High School and has been a member of FBLA for two years. He came to the U.S. from Spain four years ago, and since then has been very involved with FBLA at his school participating in many competitive events and helping his chapter thrive to the fullest.

Nesta spent countless hours helping launch his FBLA chapter this year to make it a success. Nesta is a person who values giving back to his community. He tutors 2 days a week in the Edmonds Woodway library where he helps his peers in all academic subjects. Not just that, but he approaches every task with a positive attitude. No project is too large, no request too small. His optimism and “can do” attitude make him admired and respected not only among other students, but also among teachers, counselors, and administrators. This year, he was named the 2019 Edmonds Woodway Career and Technical Education Student of the Year.

Nesta’s positivity and drive to help himself and others succeed in FBLA truly sets him apart as an outstanding member in Washington FBLA!
