November Member of the Month
Congratulations to McKayla Soren! She is a junior this year at Snohomish High School and has been a member of FBLA for three years. McKayla joined FBLA early freshman year and almost immediately took up the leadership position as espresso manager at her chapter’s espresso stand, their main fundraising activity.
Her duties include making schedules, training new baristas, recruiting new members, advertising drinks of the month, and acting as the voice of their officer team. McKayla is a person who extremely values giving back to the community. Outside of her duties as espresso manager, she has helped with organizing community service projects for Autism Awareness Month and created a pin design that the chapter sold to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Currently, she is serving as the chapter’s Vice President of Public Relations and always strives to fulfill her duties above and beyond. Her bubby and fun attitude have greatly helped Snohomish FBLA become a family as well as a positive and productive addition to their high school.
McKayla’s positive attitude and determination to help herself and others succeed in FBLA truly sets her apart as an outstanding member in Washington FBLA!
