March Member of the Month - America Simental

“America is a positive young woman who has the leadership skills, work ethic, and passion to be successful in the field of her choice.” ~ Mark Ross Kondo, Quincy High School FBLA Adviser

Washington FBLA is excited to announce our March Member of the Month—congratulations to America Simental, a junior from Quincy High School!

Currently in her third year of FBLA, America stands out because of the professionalism, positivity, and friendship she demonstrates while serving as chapter president of the Quincy FBLA chapter. From training members at their Java Jacks Espresso stand to hosting a local Pro Sports Career Day, America leads by example and is always ready to serve her peers. This attitude has allowed America to earn the respect of both students and staff at Quincy High School and sets her apart as an outstanding student member.

Outside of FBLA, America continues to pursue her passions for business and education by being a member of the University of Washington Foster School of Business’ Young Executives of Color program. As a young woman who empowers and inspires those around her to elevate their futures, America truly embodies what it means to be a future business leader.
