January Chapter of the Month - Snohomish High School

Congratulations to Snohomish High School for being WA FBLA’s January Chapter of the Month!

Snohomish High School FBLA has excellent performance in competitive events and great impact in their community. In the past three years Snohomish FBLA has been consistent in maintaining and growing their membership by 10% by sponsoring various events, such as ice cream socials, monthly meetings, and excessive promotion of competitive events. With the help and encouragement of their adviser, they also have amazing performance at their Winter Leadership Conference with almost every person who competes qualifying to compete at the State Business Leadership Conference. Snohomish FBLA members take a step further by raising thousands of dollars every year through running an espresso stand, making them an affordable and accessible chapter with members getting monetary assistance from the money they fundraise.

Snohomish FBLA has impacted their community by creating community service events. During the past two years they have raised hundreds of dollars for breast cancer awareness research by selling pins and getting cash donations from members of the community. They also raised money last year for autism research. This year they are working on a hygiene drive by getting donations from the community, which will then be directly donated to the Snohomish Food Bank.

Thank you, Snohomish High School, for your dedication to FBLA and its goals!
