December Chapter of the Month - Fife High School

Congratulations to Fife High School for being WA FBLA’s December Chapter of the Month!

Fife’s FBLA chapter has worked incredibly hard this year to provide members with a memorable FBLA experience! Every member has worked together for the chapter to complete the Super Sweeps and Non-Stop November National Chapter Challenge program.

Their current membership boasts 60 members with approximately half of their members currently working on the BAA and the CSA. Fife FBLA has members volunteering at nearly every chapter-sponsored event to make an impact on their community. They created the Trojan Business Closet, which helps provide students with business clothes for FBLA or interviews.

Their chapter competitive event teams have also been busy presenting and creating opportunities for chapter-wide participation.

  • The American Enterprise Project (AEP) team used the help of student volunteers to host two Elder Financial Abuse workshops to help prevent the senior citizens of their community from financial related scams. The AEP team is also planning to teach a lesson to first graders on how to budget.
  • The Community Service Project team enlisted the chapter and community to help collect over 10,000 personal care hygiene items that were then packaged into 407 personal care bags for the homeless.
  • The Partnership with Business Project team attended the Fife Milton Edgewood Chamber of Commerce “Connecting with our Schools” luncheon to present Fife’s eighth Job Shadow event to the local business community.

FHS FBLA has shown to be hardworking and dedicated this year! Keep it up, Fife High School!
